Steakhouse L’Fanà Food & Wine in La Villa, Alta Badia, features a cosmopolitan cuisine, rooted in the culinary traditions of the Badia Valley, yet open to the flavours from all over the world. The menu offers unexpected surprises and combines South Tyrolean speck with Iberian ham, ribs with T-bone steaks, the best South Tyrolean beef and veal from organic farms with Angus and Wagyu Kobe meat. As you can easily guess, the key element is meat that is widely present among both starters (carpaccio, tartare, cold cuts) and main courses, starring a variety of grilled meat dishes, personally prepared by the owner Klaus. At the same time, there is no lack of flavoursome first courses, created with fresh seasonal ingredients, such as mushrooms or game, as well as South Tyrolean culinary classics. For those who long for a full immersion into the gastronomic traditions of Alta Badia the restaurant offers Ladin dinners (subject to prior reservation), a full-course “parade” of traditional flavours, based on local products and authentic recipes, including mouth-watering pork shanks.
